Installing Acrobat Reader

After you have downloaded Acrobat Reader from the Adobe website, you can install it on your PC.

To install Acrobat Reader:

  1. Before you begin to install the downloaded file, make sure that you close all other Windows applications including your browser (that is, Internet Explorer or Netscape). This means that you will have to close this help page. If you want to print a copy of these instructions, click on on the toolbar.

  2. If you did not click on in the Download Complete window when you downloaded Acrobat Reader, go to the directory in which you downloaded the file then double-click on the name of the file.
