Downloading Acrobat Reader

Acrobat Reader enables you to view and print portable document format files (that is, documents that have a filename with a .PDF extension).

To download Acrobat Reader:

  1. Go to the Adobe website at http://get.adobe.com/reader.

    The Download Acrobat Reader page is displayed.

  2. Click on

  3. In the Step 1 section, select the options you require for the operating system and language. Click on .

  4. The File Download window is displayed.

    The Save As window is displayed.

  6. Select the directory in which you want to download the file then click on .

    The download begins. A window displays the progress of the download and informs you when it is complete.

  7. If the Download Complete window has an button, click on this to start installing Acrobat Reader.

    Otherwise, click on . The download is complete and you can now install Acrobat Reader.
