Downloading plug-ins

Plug-ins are applications that enable you to view the different types of file formats in which the tender documents may be produced. For example, a tender document that has a filename with a .PDF extension can be read with Adobe Acrobat only.

You can download plug-ins from the internet and save them on your PC. Once a plug-in is saved on your PC, it is automatically started whenever it is required. For example, if you open a tender document that is in PDF format, Acrobat is automatically started.

The plug-ins required are:

• AlternaTIFF (if you can turn on imaging on your PC, you do not need to download AlternaTIFF) and

• Acrobat Reader
